Ringtones on buses, Shut it up CHAV scum

For those of you who know me you will realise that I am quite a tolerant person. However nothing really aggravates me more than the little 14-18 yr old chavs who get on the bus with the latest AKON & Eminem remix blasting from whichever mobile mummy and daddy have bought them.So to all the bus riding chavs (99% of the overall chav population) here’s a couple of thoughts to take on board…For gods sake no-one wants to listen to your brothers hip-hop remix through a shitty little phone speaker, no matter how good you think it is. Show everyone on the bus a little respect and buy a pair of headphones. If you don’t have any cash cause you spent it on cheap booze and drugs use the headphones that came with your phone.

I hear you on this one…can’t stand it when people let their phone ring for what seems like forever. And it seems the worse the song, the longer they let it ring.
What really pisses me off is now you can set a song for when ever you receive calls, so instead of ringing, you hear a song…i hate it.

@BLAH: Good to see that your man / woman enough to use your real name when posting an argument for chav scum.
I have no problem with people living how they want to. The problem with Chavs living their lives the way they do is it negatively influences everyone else around them.
Ringtones on the busses is only the first thing on a long list about chavs that aggravates me. You also have spitting and swearing in public, generally having no ambition better themselves and littering.
Mainly I think its their lack of respect for anything and everything that doesn’t relate directly to them. I guess you could say I hate their selfishness.
Oh and I’m not sure where you got this stuffy old fart image from? I’m only 26 and through my world wide travels have met many people from many cultures leading to a very open mind.

i agree with you about chavs in some matter.But some chavs come from really ruff backgrounds in thier lives.And its not always thier fault they just get forced in to been a chav by fierce gangs. But when you just plain want to be a chav and you delibratly shout at por inosent people on the streets then them chavs can get stuffed………. In the other hand its rare but true but a chav might one day turn out to be your best friend or more……… Getting pregnant at an early age is sick in my oppinion but it does happen and their parents should know that its also apart of thier responcabilty to make sure that the young pregnant girl makes it through every step with looking after the baby….. So you will actually find that chavs can be Good or Bad It depends

Emma, what you and other chavs HAVE to understand that there will always be sites like this where people who have to deal with chavettes feel like they can actually have a voice. Chavs don’t help themselves at all… how often do you hear of a “chav” doing something worthwhile for someone else? Nicking beer for a mate does not count…
I have to walk past a newsagents near a high school every day on the way to work, and if you say “no” when asked if you’ll go into the shop for them, you get abuse, how fair is that? Is it going to make me like that person? No. Am I going to stereotype and label them as a chav and feel nervous about going past them in future? Yes.

I get what yous saying and everything and i know that us lot have a bad reputation- drinking, sex, rude or whatever but thats a stereotype chav mate.

Everytime I get on a bus and a group of those things get on the bus and head to the back, phone blaring away, all I want to do is get up and shout at them for not having any respect for other people.
I bet if I was to turn around to everyone else on the bus they would agree.

seriously nothing we can do about it though… we call the police and they do nothing about their violent behaviour because there is more laws protecting these little bastards then there are accusing them of these crimes… and what with the way prisons are getting more fancy and to be blunt more appealing to these people from a crap background what reason should they have not to do what they do when they could live the lifestyle of a movie star in prison?
there needs to be actuall punishmesnts for criminals because that is all these people are and if they want to be hard and act out then let them do what they want but try them at their trial like an adult and see how cocky they become after that.
not only that but the parents are also to blame… in relation to a case where a goth girl was murdered for protecting her boyfriend who had been attacked for no reason, at the trial of conviction the accused were actually joking about the murder with their own parents and laughing about it when will the government say enough is enough and do something about it.

I think all of you chav idiots who have come on here to try to defend yourselves are deluded if you think anyone’s going to like or feel sorry for a chav. 1. Dude, it’s pretty impressive how many typos there are in all of these comments, considering that a nice red line conveniently appears under any words you’ve misspelled.
2. So let me get this straight; the chav-defenders are telling the anti-chav activists not to judge them by judging the anti-chavs as old, boring, and uptight? The circular vacuity of logic is astounding. (Emma, do you follow? You know, being at Cambridge and all.)
3. The whole I’ll-respect-you-if-you-respect-me-first is the lamest argument ever invented. It’s amazing how both sides can overuse it triumphantly to the bitter end.
4. In reality, no one is allowed to live entirely the way the want to. There happen to be these things called laws. I’m getting the vibe that laws don’t seem to matter much to chavs. Huh, I guess that’s why law-abiding citizens have a problem with them. You know, I always wondered: with those that shun the societal norm and live to break the rules, if there were no rules, would they make some so that they wouldn’t have to be the same as everyone else? Technically, it’s still rebelling. There’s kind of a reason why people can’t live exactly how they want. It’s called society. Social contract, if you must.
5. Bottom line: I don’t know why you anti-chavs bother trying to get them to ‘grow up’, cause at the rate they’re going, it doesn’t sound like many of them will get the chance to make that decision, except that that actually is their decision. Chavs, go ahead and live gloriously however the hell you want, as long as it doesn’t infringe on how others want to live their lives (i.e., with peace and quiet in public areas). They aren’t telling you that you can’t listen to your music, they’re telling you that they don’t want to hear it while you’re listening to it. If they can’t tell you how to live your lives, then you’re not allowed to affect how they enjoy theirs. Maybe both sides should quit while you both think you’re ahead.
